We've successfully completed the Cabin of the Year project and the cabin is furnished and ready to host our fall whitetail hunts we have planned. Thank you to all of our partners and for following along with us!
Weekly Progress Photos
Weeks 9 - 10
The inside of the cabin is being finished off with sheet rock and tongue and groove throughout. Electric is being run throughout and fixtures are beginning to be installed.
Weeks 11 - 12
Finishing work has just about been completed. The floors are down and we're using the New Silverado HD truck that we have on-site to start loading in appliances, countertops and fixtures.
Quality Deer Management
Not only are we building our dream cabin, we're also managing the surrounding acreage to help support a healthy deer population.
Weeks 6 - 8
The cabin is heading into the final stages of construction. Plumbing, HVAC and electrical are all being worked on.
Week 4
We're almost done with the dry-in phase. This week the roof was finished and ready for shingles, the porch as been added and the interior framing is completed. Next up will be to install windows, doors and start with electric and plumbing.
Week 3
The 16 courses of logs have now been stacked and the second floor is going up. This week the framing of the roof has also been started.
Week 2
C&S Log Hogs begin arranging and putting together the kit with the log stacking process.

Unloading the kit as it arrives on site in Kansas.
