In about a month we've accomplished 99% of the first phase of our cabin project - the 'dry in' stage.  All of the logs are stacked, the second floor finished, the roof on, interior framing done and the wrap around porch added.  Our one outstanding project to finish with this phase is hanging the windows and exterior doors.  Here's a link to our latest photo galllery of the project.

An interesting builder's tip for any of you planning a cabin project in the future is that the openings to be cut for all the windows and doors should actually be cut an inch or more in height than you would regularly size a window opening.  This is to allow for the logs to settle without snapping the window frames.  Since the logs are stacked on foam and with caulking there will be a couple of inches of settling that will occur over time.  If you are doing the project yourself it's always a good idea to ask the cabin kit provider exactly how much extra space to allow for your cabin.
